「試し斬りで斬りたい所を正確に斬る」ための大事なポイントをお伝えしたいと思います。

試し斬りにおいては、今までもお伝えしてきた通り、
刃筋はもちろんのこと「斬りたい所を斬る」ということがとても重要です。
たとえ、藁を斬ることが上手くても、斬りたい所を斬れなければ技斬りはできないのです。

また、斬りたいところを斬れないと、
稀に心棒や斬り台を斬ってしまうこともあり、大切な刀の刃こぼれの原因になります。
稽古では、「上手く斬れた」ということと共に
「自分が思っていたところ」が斬れたかどうか、毎回確認してみましょう!

不思議なものでこの確認作業を続けることで、
斬りたい所を斬れるテクニックが一気にアップします。
